So what do I do with paper flowers

so one would wonder if not for scrapbooking what to do with all my paper flower purchases....

so with my amazing purchases of last week I added some feathers from a seller on etsy and created this facinator

I just love how it turned out. 4 flowers made by dragonfly expression, some scrap ribbon and a brooch/hairclip backing and ostrich feather from plumule on etsy!!! I jsut love it!!!!

perfect for my burlesque friends, pin up lasses or modern brides!

Great way to end the week!

So a few weeks ago I got this message on etsy with a 3 item  sale to please add a card to this order and send it off. I had'nt thought much about it until I got this adorable message

Did you send me some magic treats in the mail?? I believe you did and I have been so excited over them, even posting on my blog about the mystery of who it is... how did you find me? Or my address!?? Thank you so much though I love the treats so much!!!!!!!!!

it took a few minutes for me to recall and it was all quite cute and funny! Turns out the lucky gift getter was none other than etsy's ABadPanda who runs an awesome blog http://darlingstewie.com/secret-treats-rule/   and have a looky loo at what she is wearing...Our skull earrings and swarovski hairclip!!!  Way to go pretty lady!!!!!  Beautiful!!!!! and the skulls are'nt bad either!!!!

Another week another mail bag call!

ahhhhh it's been such a great week!

hot, sticky but full of mail

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm   where to start 

first of all before I forget we have added to out bath line and candles line

I have come up with the best detox bath ever  only 3 ingerdients  essential oil 100% pure and blended (orange,grapefruit,lavender,black pepper but not in that order) Dead sea salt and french green clay....mmmmmmmmm it's so nice. and after you feel all sleepy, not just because of the lavender but the green clay draws so much out of your body in the way of impurities.

than I used the same relaxing sensual essential oils and started a pretty gray candle line of votives and melts, even some in flower shapes

 

So onto mail week!

Than I got a package from http://www.etsy.com/shop/pinkdottedowl full of yummy goodness  butterfly scrub soaps, twist up soaps, and lemmongrass fluff soap....great stuff and super shipping. her page is full of stuff!

I caved and bought a heartsy deal for a stitch of mine. http://www.etsy.com/shop/astitchofmine I love beautiful mats and runners for tables and I so quickly fell in love with  this beautiful neat blue and yellow table runner that is perfect in our house I just love it and it is sooooo well made

well it seems I was self spoiled this week but it's still STILL because of the postal strike!   although it's been fun the last few weeks getting all my backlogged orders.

SO I guess it will soon be onto school shopping and starting to put xmas stuff away!

Well we'll catch up next week......hopefully sooner and it won't be so hot!!!!!

Life is kinda normal! I think it's a good thing?!?!

SO.... Hello ! remember me? yep I got a little lazy   but it's been a bit of a bore here.

postal strike over......

I have just been working on new things......i've added about 10-12 new items to the store. I came across this old box of vintage beads and have begun using them. i've starting making some small minimalist necklaces that make amazing stacking necklaces, some nice rings, and more candles including a 1/2 cube in lemongrass.

I'm still waiting for stuff I ordered in the beginning of june. Almost anything I buy I will alyaws review and share here.




So far I got

amazing pampering goodness from princessbuttercupsoy  I got these cocoa butter bath melts...DIVINE!! actually i did'nt use them myself. The boy is outside so much he gets dry skin all summer so I ran a bath and dropped one in...I do think pampering him is something he appreciates...he knows it's a wee something extra...and he felt like VELVET....I kept rubbing his arm and he had this glow  not a greasy shime but just a glow that was amazing....HOWEVER today he is covered in dirt and rain barrel water YUM. I had ordered some vintage tags and earrings from Oldsoulstyle on etsy...she's neat...great paper goods and I remember having this deck of these cards when I was a kid so I had to get them. Mamassewingroom I have know thru bnr's and so on for awhile. She's funny and truly very talented at many things. Her aprons are all quique from eachother...Some frilly and pretty some dark and disturbed. I fell in love with an vintage one made from a pillowcase that she had found all by it's lonesome some3where on her adventures. It is so beautiful and I hope to post a pic soon. Bubblesandbugs makes adorable tops and onesies for kids along with little purses totes and tissue holders. I bought the 5/6 dump truck tie shirt for the boy. I will say I am kinda known at my son's school for the kid with cool tops.....this one fit right in. he wore it to his graduation and EVERYBODY commented about it.
